Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

I’ve been playing around with different versions of these cookies trying to simplify them into the most delicious quick sweet treat. The great thing is they are incredibly healthy too! I’ve used Jump Protein from Bugeater Foods as a binding ingredient, making these the perfect post workout indulgence with a rich chocolate taste. You can also sweeten these up with dark chocolate chips raisins or even shredded beets.  Another bonus is that if you don’t have time to fit baking into your busy schedule you can remove half of the water and make a no-bake version the flax seed will keep them moist and delicious. Whip them up to put in your bag on the go!

  • 2 1/2 cups steel cut oats
  • 3 scoops or 1/3 of a cup Jump Protein
  • 2 tsp flax seed
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/8 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/8 cup raisins, cranberries or shredded beets
